Information We Collect
Information collected automatically
When you visit, certain technical information is processed automatically. Depending on your browser and settings, this may include:
- your IP address and approximate location derived from it;
- the pages you view, the time and duration of your visit, and the page that referred you;
- your device type, operating system, browser type and language; and
- cookie identifiers and similar online identifiers.
Information you send us
If you email admin@loan15minutes.top, we receive your email address, your name if you provide it, and the content of your message. Please do not send ID documents, bank or wallet details, passwords or one-time codes. We do not need them to answer a question or fix an error.
Information we do not collect
The website has no login, payment or loan application feature. We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal information through the website, and the optional email box asks only for an email address.
How We Use Information
We use information to:
- operate, secure and improve the website;
- understand which pages are useful and how visitors find them;
- diagnose technical problems and prevent abuse;
- respond to messages, corrections and feedback; and
- meet legal obligations where they apply.
We process personal data on the basis of our legitimate interest in running and improving an information website, your consent where it is required, and compliance with the law.
Cookies and Analytics
Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics, a web analytics service of Google, to measure traffic. It sets cookies such as those beginning with "_ga" and collects data about your visit, including pages viewed, approximate location and device information. The information is used to produce reports about website activity. Google may process this data on servers outside the Philippines.
You can learn how Google uses data from sites that use its services, and how to opt out, on Google's privacy pages. You can also install the browser add-on that Google provides to opt out of Google Analytics.
Search engine verification
We may use verification tags from search engines, such as Bing Webmaster Tools, to confirm that we own the website. These tags do not collect information about visitors.
Managing cookies
Most browsers let you block or delete cookies, or set a preference to be notified before a cookie is stored. If you block cookies, the website will still work, although some analytics may be affected. Private or incognito browsing also limits cookie storage.
Sharing of Information
We share information only in limited circumstances:
- Service providers. Providers that help us run the website, such as our hosting and content delivery provider and Google Analytics, process data on our behalf under their own terms and privacy practices.
- Legal reasons. We may disclose information if required by law, court order or a lawful request from a competent authority, or to protect our rights, the safety of others or the security of the website.
- Business changes. If the website is transferred to another operator, the information we hold may be transferred with it, subject to this policy.
We do not sell your personal data or share it with lenders for marketing.
Email Subscription, Telegram and Partner Links
Email subscription. If you enter your email in the subscription box on the home page, we receive your email address and the name of the website you used. The form sends them to a Google Apps Script service that we use to store and manage our subscriber list, and to send you a confirmation message and updates about changes to the lenders listed on our pages. We use the email only for these purposes.
Telegram. The button on the home page opens our Telegram bot. Telegram processes the information you give it under Telegram's own terms and privacy policy, and we may receive your Telegram username or ID to send you tips and list updates.
Partner and affiliate links. Some buttons lead to partner websites and are affiliate links. When you click one, identifiers such as the page you came from may be passed to the partner or an affiliate network so that referrals can be counted. The partner's own privacy policy then applies to anything you submit there. We do not receive the information you enter on a partner's website.
To stop receiving emails or Telegram messages, or to ask us to delete your email, write to admin@loan15minutes.top.
Third-Party Websites
Our pages mention and may link to regulators, providers and other websites. We do not control their content or privacy practices, and this policy does not apply to them. Read the privacy notice of any website or app before you give it personal information, especially a loan app that requests permissions, contacts, photos or ID.
Retention
We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes described above. Analytics data is kept according to the retention settings we choose in our analytics account. Emails that you send us are kept for as long as needed to answer you, fix an error and keep a record of the correction, and then deleted or archived as appropriate.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the information we hold, including the security features of our hosting provider. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
International Transfers
Our hosting provider and Google Analytics may process data in countries outside the Philippines. Where that occurs, we rely on the safeguards offered by those providers.
Your Rights Under the Data Privacy Act
The Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173) gives individuals rights over their personal data. Depending on the circumstances, these include the right to:
- be informed about how your data is processed;
- access your personal data;
- object to processing, including withdrawing consent where processing is based on consent;
- rectify inaccurate or incomplete data;
- erasure or blocking of data in appropriate cases;
- data portability, where applicable;
- claim damages for inaccurate, incomplete, unauthorized or unlawfully obtained data; and
- file a complaint with the National Privacy Commission (NPC).
To exercise a right, email admin@loan15minutes.top with a description of your request. We may need to confirm your identity to protect your information. Because we collect very little personal data, we may not hold data that identifies you. If you are unhappy with our response, you may contact the NPC through its official channels at privacy.gov.ph.
Children
This website is intended for adults. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
Protecting Yourself When You Borrow
Privacy risks are greater with loan apps than with information websites. A joint advisory from the DICT, the NPC and the SEC states that unnecessary processing of personal data through mobile apps is prohibited and that lenders may not access your contact list for unrelated purposes. Before you install a loan app:
- verify the lender and the app through official records;
- read its privacy notice and permission requests;
- decline permissions that a loan does not need; and
- never share one-time codes or ID photos with people who contact you through chat or social media.
Our loan app safety guide explains the checks in more detail, and our guide on how to report abusive loan app collectors shows where to file a complaint.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The updated version takes effect when we publish it on this page, and the changes will apply to information processed after that point. Please review it periodically.
